What a great day on the water with locals! We busted a bunch of small snake kings, spanish, false albacore and sharks on the troll today.
Great day of fishing in the Gulf Stream! The smiles tell it all!! 40 degrees on land when leaving the dock and 74 degrees in the Gulf Stream. Lots of fun!
We finally got to get on the water again! First time since last year! Went 1-1 on wahoo along with some barracuda and sharks. Did pull a few bottom fish to help with some meat. Can’t wait to go again!
One last trip for 2019! Good friends, good fishing and great time catching wahoo, hog snapper, queen trigger, broome tail and white spotted grouper!
Leave the dock 36 degrees bundled up in warm clothes and start shedding clothes when you get to the gulf stream 76 degree water. Troll bite was slow today but the bottom produced some real nice results with a prize catch, Hog Snapper!
All the way from Colorado to Myrtle Beach to catch some black sea bass for Thanksgiving. Dean and his two daughters were first timers on the Atlantic ocean and they had a ball catching a bunch of bottom fish on a 1/2 day trip!
We had several King Mackerel trips in September and October that produced some really good Kings! Never did find our tournament winning King but it sure was fun trying.
Had a variety of bites on the troll with Wahoo, Blackfin Tuna and Mahi. Then filled up the box with some awesome bottom fish, strawberry grouper, queen trigger fish, vermillion snappers, porgy's and grunts.
It was slick as glass which makes for tough fishing, but these DC boys put it on the fish. Caught several Kings, lost a Mahi Mahi, and caught a 10 ft Bull shark (after fighting him for 1 hour with a King Mackerel rod/reel) A lot of fun with great people!
