Had a great group of guys that picked at the mahi, blackfin tuna and kings for a few hours. Fought fish all morning before blowing a hub in one of the props 65 miles offshore. Took us 8 hours to get back to the hill on one motor but we made it! Thank the Lord for calm seas, a following wind and no afternoon storms. Caught several fish trolling back in on one motor as well!
We didn’t catch the big king we were hunting while fishing the East Coast Got Em On King Mackerel Tournament but we did manage to catch and save a sailfish from heavy rope wrapped around her mouth and body. She could not eat with this rope wrapped around her. She swam around the boat for 10 minutes while we threw everything we could to try to entice her to eat while noticing some blue looking garbage hanging on her. She was looking for help, so David free gaffes her towards her back fin area and we raised her in the boat and cut line away. She was so exhausted she didn’t put up any hassle at all. We put her back in the water and dragged her alongside the boat while she gained energy and then she swam away. We may not have caught the big king mackerel we were looking for but we sure were happy to be able to save a billfishes life. Totally worth every exhausting minute on the water this past weekend!
Troll bite was slow but we ended the day with a few tight lines! Great day on the water with some great DC friends!
It doesn’t get any better than this!! Kids shark/black bass trip for two future fishermen! Ryan and Mattie got it done on the afternoon trip! Happy 4th of July!
Morning trip was slow but we did pull a few lines tight and got this stud in the boat! Great day with great people on the water!
Cobia, Kings, Spanish and sharks kept us busy all morning with tight lines with some awesome Baltimore MD folks, Amy, Ben, John and Zach!
Wow! We were blessed with calm seas, plenty of pogies and a box full of fish for our awesome clients from WV. Lots of fun and great people! Started the day with Mahi, AJ’s, Kings and the tax man!
A late afternoon trip for the Bellamy family! Patience paid off! First timers offshore and I believe they are hooked!
